Truck and Crane Division
Brunswick Navigation's Truck and Crane Division can
help you meet many of your shore side support needs. Our primary rig is equipped with both an articulating knuckle
boom crane and a hydraulic boat trailer capable of hauling our largest 50 foot vessels to your next research location.
Our primary truck and crane is capable of providing pier side or ramp support for any number of your logistical needs
such as deploying research buoys, Yokahama fenders, loading stores, or equipment on deck from our flatbed trailer.
Our Commercially Licensed Drivers are also experienced mariners who know how to meet your marine logistical needs.

Equipment Specifications:
- Primary Truck:
International 9100 series 10 speed city tractor, all hitches available. Tractor is equipped with a variety of tools and lifting gear.
- Crane:
Palfinger 11080B Knuckle Boom, SWL is 5100# alongside tractor to 990# at 45 feet. This crane is capable of pier side negative lifts.
Attachments for Drums and Pallets are available.
- Hydraulic Trailer:
Hostar Custom 53 foot long, 10.5 feet wide, triple axle, 36,000# high speed SWL, and 48,000# low speed SWL.
This trailer is capable of hauling our largest vessels from a boat ramp, transporting to a work yard, and setting
the vessel on blocks for bottom work or storage. Some of its many features are: adjustable rolling dollies to
conform to different hull shapes, six hydraulic support arms with removable offsets for special loads, articulating
hydraulic gooseneck, and air ride suspension. This trailer is wider than most allowing much lower vertical road
clearance for higher profile vessels.
